There are seven main layers of the human energy field, also known as auras. Each layer has its own function and correlation with each chakra. For instance, the first layer is a correlated to the root chakra and second layer the sacral chakra and so on.
The first layer is the etheric body which is closest to the physical body is visualized as a lines of blue light. It is associated with physical functioning, sensation, feeling pain/pleasure, and autonomic functions of the body. Correlates with root chakra.
The second layer is the emotional body and is correlated with the emotional characteristics of the human energy field. It holds our emotions and feelings that we experience. It is visualized as a rainbow cloud-like light that has blurred, non-defined edges. Correlates with sacral chakra.
The third layer is the mental body, visualized as yellow grid-like lines. It is associated with linear thinking. Correlates with solar plexus.
The fourth layer is the astral body, visualized as blurry multi-dimensional clouds. It metabolizes the energy of love and is the vehicle through which we love. Correlates with heart chakra.
The fifth layer is the etheric template, visualized as a cobalt blue egg -shaped light. It is associated with divine will. It is also the blueprint for our physical body and all of its manifestations. Correlates with throat chakra.
The sixth layer is the celestial body, visualized as rays of iridescent light. It is associated with celestial love and oneness with source/universe. We begin to see the love and light in all things. It is associated with the third eye chakra.
The seventh layer is the ketheric template, visualized as egg shaped yellow threads of light. It is associated with our higher mind, knowing and integration of our spiritual and physical makeup. It contains our soul contract and all has the experiences the soul has ever experienced. Additionally, it contains all of the chakras and acts as a protective golden egg shell of light that filters energy in and out of the person’s energy field. It correlates with the crown chakra.
